Headlining the main virtual room at Flappers Comedy Club! As the judges pick in the Uncle Clyde’s Comedy Contest, I’ll be headlining a virtual show. I’ll be joined by comedians Miranda Meadows (LA) , Atheer Yacoub (NYC), and Dario Durham (Chicago). Expect a ton of laughter and fun.
Performing on Friday and Saturday March 27th and 28th at the Dallas Comedy Festival in Deep Ellum, TX
That Sunday Show is a monthly variety hour featuring comedic acts of novelty and artistic intrigue. each episode is headlined by The Session, an anything goes improv event presented in a stream of conscious medium and free of constraints.
The Theme for this time is My Truth!
Louder Than a Mom because everyone has a depressing, shocking, miserable, vulgar, hilarious family story! Storytelling is one of the oldest human traditions. Come and share yours. If you’re not ready to talk about your family tragedy, your judgmental mother-in-law, your drunk Uncle Pete who ruins every holiday, or why you hate your four-year-old, come and listen. We all love a good bedtime story!!

MWC Chicago, in partnership with Muslim Affairs and Public Policy Organization at UofC, is hosting it's first Autumnal Open Mic! For this Open Mic, we want to hear your stories of all things spooktacular. After all, life can be pretty scary sometimes! Poetry, stories, spoken word, musical performances are all welcome and encouraged. Bonus if you can bring stories of jinns and scary things that go bump in the night!
As a clarification - we encourage you to share stories and pieces about the one of the most powerful human emotions: Fear. Your tale could be one of triumph in overcoming it or one of how you learned to bravely live with a fear of: rejection, squirrels or the sky falling on your head.
This event will be held in the Penthouse of the Reva & David Logan Center for the Arts and does have a $5 suggested donation. Light refreshments will be provided.
